Disclaimer
This website is operated by Notice That! Therapy PLLC, the private practice of Violeta Donawa, LMSW-C, MA (Michigan license #6801114026). The information on this site is for general educational and informational purposes only. It is not therapy, medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and it is not a substitute for care from a qualified health professional.
No therapist-client relationship. Visiting this website, reading its content, downloading a resource, subscribing to our newsletter, completing a form, or emailing us does not create a therapist-client relationship. That relationship begins only after a consultation, a completed intake, signed informed consent, and written confirmation from the practice that we will work together.
Not for emergencies. This website, its forms, and our email are not monitored around the clock. If you are in crisis or thinking about harming yourself or someone else, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room. You can also call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline. In Michigan, 988 calls are answered by the Michigan Crisis and Access Line (MiCAL), which you can also reach at 1-844-446-4225 or at Michigan.gov/MiCAL.
Michigan residents only for therapy. Therapy services, including weekly EMDR therapy and EMDR intensives, are offered only to people physically located in Michigan at the time of each session, in line with state licensing rules. Content on this site is not an offer of therapy where we are not licensed.
Trainings, workshops, and resources. Retreats, trainings, presentations, and workshops for organizations, as well as workbooks, guides, newsletters, and other resources, are educational. They are not therapy and do not create a therapist-client relationship, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.
Holistic services. Body-based and complementary services, such as Reiki and ear acudetox, support wellbeing. They are not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment.
Fit and results. Not every service is a good fit for every person. Suitability for therapy, including EMDR intensives, is decided during a consultation and assessment. Every person's experience is different, and we cannot guarantee specific outcomes. Descriptions of EMDR, including research and before-and-after images, are general and educational, not a promise of individual results.

Terms of Use
Effective date: November 5, 2026
By using this website, you agree to these Terms and to our Disclaimer and Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Website use. You may use this site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Please do not misuse it, attempt to disrupt it, or submit false information through its forms.
Therapy services. Therapy, including individual and couples therapy, weekly EMDR therapy, and EMDR intensives, is provided only to adults physically located in Michigan. Submitting a form or booking a consultation does not guarantee that we will provide services. We accept clients after a consultation and assessment confirm that a service is a safe and appropriate fit. If it is not, we may recommend a different format, a higher level of care, or a referral.
Organizational services. Retreats, trainings, and workshops for organizations are provided under a separate written agreement. That agreement's terms, including fees, travel, lodging, and cancellation, control if they differ from these Terms.
Fees and payment. Current fees are listed on this website or provided in writing before you schedule. We accept both insurance and private pay for weekly therapy. We are currently in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Blue Care Network, Aetna, TRICARE, and Medicaid. EMDR intensives, organizational services, holistic services, and digital products are private pay. If you plan to use insurance, please check your benefits before your first session. You are responsible for any copay, deductible, coinsurance, or charges your plan does not cover, except where Medicaid rules say otherwise. Fees may change, but changes will not affect a service you have already booked. For private-pay services, we can provide a superbill for possible out-of-network reimbursement, though we cannot guarantee that your insurance will reimburse you.
Cancellations and rescheduling. For weekly sessions, please give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Late cancellations and missed sessions may be charged the full session fee. Medicaid clients are not charged for missed appointments.
Intensive deposits. A 50% deposit holds your EMDR intensive dates, with the balance due at the end of your final intensive day. Please give at least 72 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an intensive. With at least 72 hours' notice, your deposit can be applied to new intensive dates scheduled within 90 days. Deposits are non-refundable for cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice. Full details are in the service agreement you sign before your intensive.
Good Faith Estimate. Under federal law, if you are not using insurance, you have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate of the expected cost of your services. Ask for one before scheduling. For more information, visit cms.gov/nosurprises.
