EMDR for PTSD

I provide mental health support to individuals with PTSD and other forms of trauma using Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR).

EMDR helps individuals:

  • Expand their window of tolerance in order to access, feel, and experience a broader range of emotions

  • Learn to feel safe (enough) in their bodies, environments, and relationships

  • Process and integrate traumatic memories that are “stuck” in an unprocessed state

  • Process grief and loss associated with important moments and phases in life

  • Reduce frequency and duration of dissociation

  • Unlearn negative beliefs and irrational thoughts about themselves and their capabilities
